This exquisite necklace marries the legendary jewelry craftsmanship of the Maison with over 250 years of French decorative arts heritage.

Unlike traditional gemstone or mother-of-pearl editions, this pendant features an inlay of authentic Pink Sèvres Porcelain. Sèvres has been the premier porcelain manufacturer in France since the 18th century. Van Cleef & Arpels selected this material for its completely flat, milky, uniform pastel tone. Achieving this flawless finish requires a meticulous 20-step hand-firing process that results in an unbreakable, smooth ceramic surface completely devoid of grains, textures, or iridescence. Because this firing process is notoriously difficult and delicate, production numbers were kept exceptionally low.

The flat pink porcelain is encased in a signature 18K Rose Gold (Pink Gold) beaded quatrefoil border, perfectly complementing the soft, feminine blush of the ceramic. Seated directly at the center of the lucky four-leaf clover is a single, bezel-set round brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.05 carats, chosen from the Maison's strictest quality standards (DEF color, IF to VVS clarity).

The iconic Vintage Alhambra  motif suspends elegantly from an adjustable 14 to 16.5-inch 18K rose gold trace chain, secured firmly by a hallmarked lobster claw clasp.
