In 1970, she co-founded her own company in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, alongside her husband, painter Shigeo Ishikawa. Her creations often drew inspiration from Japanese culture, nature, and mythology, reflecting a deep appreciation for her heritage. Ishikawa's work has been showcased in various exhibitions, including a notable retrospective at the Musée de la Carte à Jouer in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, in July 2015.
