18kt satin brushed rose gold 43.5mm case. Sapphire crystal glass front and back. Black multi-level dial with cutout center, luminous hands and hour markers. Alligator leather strap with 18k satin brushed rose gold deploy buckle. Hours, minutes, seconds, Tourbillon large date located at the 6 o'clock hour marker and oversided Roman numeral 3 and 9 hour markers. Power reserve on the oscillating weigh indicator. 18k satin brushed rose gold bezel. Automatic movement, Blancpain Caliber 4225G, composed of 414 components contains 46 jewels and power reserve of 168 hours. Water resistant 100m/330ft.
Tourbillon - compensates for differences in rate caused by a watch adopting different positions. The principle is to mount the balance and escapement in a rotating cage. The balance & escapement rotate around their common axis going through all positions to average out the errors, Tourbillon cages or platforms usually rotate once per minute but 4 minute and 6 minute tourbillons are also found. The Tourbillon complication is an extremely difficult accomplishment to achieve & generally demands a high premium.
