Waterproof 30 meters / 100 feet. Main Dial is displayed with a beautifully hand engraved silver Guilloche (engine-turned) dial located at the 12 o'clock position. The rest of the watch has an open dial displaying the inner movement of the watch and displaying some the immediately recognizable Breguet innovations such as the "pare-chute" - this feature protects the balance pivot from cracking during shock (such as a drop or a minor knock). Since the balance pivot is easily breakable, The pare-chute allows for a smaller and differently shaped pivot which is mounted on a spring plate which allows room for play - thus protecting this crucial pivot from breaking. The watch also features a Power Reserve Indicator on both the front & back of the watch.
